If a problem such as an allergic reaction occurs, the cause is easy to identify. And when the item is finally discarded, it keeps a clean recycling potential, free of mixed materials.

Cotton is the plant that people wear more than any other. It is soft and warm, yet strong and refreshing. It protects people from injury, and it also heals and soothes those who are hurt. It has a nostalgic, friendly simplicity, a presence that warms the heart.
Cotton by nature returns to the soil, making it an environmentally friendly material. However, when it is blended with other materials or discarded together with accessories and trims, much of this appeal is lost. This is not limited to cotton: anything made from composite materials is inherently difficult to dispose of safely.
Mono-material, or single-material, products make disposal and recycling simple, enabling a more sustainable way of making things. This is a concept I have been nurturing for 30 years, and I created this brand out of my desire to make it a reality.
As a side note, cotton Chinese knot buttons are kind to guitars. You can play without ever scratching your treasured instrument.
